Breaking news August 2008

It is with great pleasure that we can announce the birth of the latest member of marshalling bears.

Clair (Audi TB’s minder) gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday night weighing in at 7lb 7oz.Everyone here at marshalling bears would like to wish Clair Steve Audi and Tristan all the best for the future and look forward to seeing you all at a race meeting soon.

April 2008

Today was another special day today as Beayrton got to meet another Formula one world champion. This time it was Damon Hill, together with his son Josh. This is the sixth F1 driver Beayrton has met and the second Formula 1 world champion. All he has to do now is get the picture signed by Damon and Josh to put in his scrap book.

News flash

Following a major accident in the British GT championship at Oulton Park on the 24th March 2008 involving Hunter Abbott in his Ginetta G50, Hunter publicly praised the professionalism and bravery of the marshals involved in an interview with David Addison, he also stated ‘If I had been a marshal I think I would have been running in the opposite direction’.
British GT and International F3 PR manager Jeff Carter posted the following statement on Ten Tenths ‘I've just spoken to Hunter Abbott and he asked me to pass on his thanks to the marshals. He is fine apart from some minor burns on his hands and a slight lack of facial hair (his words!).
I would also like to praise the marshals for their dedication and their professionalism in dealing with these very difficult incidents. Once again we've seen first hand why British Marshals are the best in the world and we should never forget that they are all volunteers and without them we could run motorsport events in this country. Hats off to each and every one!’

March 2008

Well the countdown has now started to the ‘official’ start of many marshals season with the 750MC at Mallory Park. Beayrton and Audi are both looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new through the year so if you are there say hello.

September 2007

This weekend (29-30th September) was another special day for Beayrton as he met the 1992 Formula 1 World Champion and 1993 Indy Car World Series Champion Nigel Mansell, you will see his picture in the drivers section, Nigel was also good enough to sign a copy of the picture which will be put on the site as soon as we can. But for all those that cant wait here is the picture.

September 2007

Beayrton has today got his passport as he is going on his holiday in a October to Disney Land Paris. Make sure that you check back to see some pictures of his adventures.

Due to the large number of events that we have been to so far this year and the number that we are still going to be going to over the next few months we have had to take down some of the older events. However we are looking to expand the site and hope to have an archive section soon. Just make sure you keep checking back to so that you dont miss anything.
